Logitech optical mice feature Darkfield technology, work on reflective surfaces

Logitech

The good thing about optical or laser mice is you do not have to clean it as what you used to do with the stupid ball mice. But the main problem with optical mice is they do not work on reflective surface. But the newly announced Logitech optical mice are exceptional as they feature Darkfield technology, which allows them to work on any reflective surface.

Darkfield technology is nothing related to any secret weapon developed by the military. It just the new technology that makes optical mice to work properly on any reflective surface with minimum 4mm thick. If you’re on a glass desk, you can then throw away the mouse pad if you have one of the Logitech mice that features the Darkfield technology.

The Darkfield technology will be first seen in Logitech’s Performance Mouse MX and the smaller brother, Anywhere Mouse MX.
