Adding to the prevalent trend today is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 release commitment. The word on the street is that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 which was caught on camera a month ago will be officially announced in a week’s time at a Sony Ericsson Press Event.

It is reported that Sony Ericsson will release new cell phones at next week and the Xperia X2 may be formally released. Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 using the Arc slider design and equipped with a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen (resolution of 800 × 480), built-in 8.1 megapixels camera.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 support for GPS, WCDMA / HSDPA network, WLAN, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-SDHC expansion, Xperia X2 will be equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.
