The main risk you’ll face when your laptop is lost or stolen is your data will likely fall into the hands your rivals which will cause financial loss. Or even the worst is your “uncensored” pics or videos will be posted online.

Here comes the newly announced Fujitsu notebook, FMV-LIFEBOOK model FMV-S8390, which is specially designed for enterprise customers and equipped with the CLEARSURE technology that allows the user to remotely delete all files on the hard disk drive, in the event of loss or theft.

The Fujitsu Lifebook FMV-S8390 notebook has a built-in communication module which uses PHS network to allow the data stored on the hard disk drive to be removed remotely. If the notebook is within the PHS network range, the data can even be deleted even the notebook has been switched off. This is the advanced security feature to allow you to delete the data regardless of the notebook ’s operational mode. Features at a glance are as follows:

- Intel Core 2 Duo / Celeron processor
- 1GB RAM
- 13.3″ widescreen LCD
- an encrypted 160GB HDD
- battery runtime of up to 10.5 hours
- DVD burner
- Windows Vista Business

The additional security technology of this Fujitsu notebook has jacked its price little higher than usual, costs $2,291 and will be available in Japan in September.
