Opera Mini works cool on the iPhone with all features supporting well except the zooming factor which is not by the pinch to zoom method, the users will have to adopt the double tap method to zoom in on web pages which is a kind of a drawback for the opera and a sore point for the iPhone users.
The Opera works out really cool on the iPhone and it is giving a tough competition to the Apple’s Safari with it competitive features it carries.
Unlike Opera on other platforms, such as Symbian, the iPhone version actually remembers which website you were browsing last, this new feature doesn’t seem to be interesting to the Opera users but we believe that most of the people are going to point their fingers on opera just because of the pinch to zoom reason.
Opera told Wired that they are confident that Opera Mini will meet the requirements. Due to issues with their compression technology not rendering rich, content-heavy documents like Safari does and because it doesn’t render HTML, instead using “a custom binary representation of the website.”
What ever! People are going to use both the Applications depending on the ease factor the user feels of using such applications. Stay tuned for more updates.
