Finally, the Apple tablet is here and its called the iPad. Leaving behind all the rumors and speculations, its time to get down to the official announcements by Steve Jobs at the apple event.

iPad is the device for browsing the web, reading books, listening to music, browsing photos and videos and playing games. Its 0.5″ thick and weighs 1.5 pounds.
