IPEVO has rolled out its new USB Web Camera known as the P2V (Point to View). This particular webcam can be mounted to point in most any direction and any height thanks to its weighted base and three movable joints. The webcam itself features a 2-megapixel image sensor with autofocus, a macro mode for capturing subjects from as close as 2 inches away and works with a wide range of popular Instant Messaging applications including Skype, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, iChat, Yahoo! Messenger and AOL. In addition, it also comes with a universal monitor clip for attaching it to any standard laptop screen or computer monitor for video chats. The IPEVO P2V retails for $69.

Samsung today slipped out a new point-and-shoot camera designed for thinness first. It shoots a common 12.2 megapixels but has an aluminum shell that measures just 0.63 inches thick that renders it more pocketable.
Casio just released two new cameras from its Exilim series in the form of the EX-Z280 and EX-Z33. The EX-Z280 is a 12.1-Megapixel pocket camera with a 26mm lens, a 4X optical zoom, a 35.7MB onboard memory (upgradable via SD/SDHC slot), and a 2.7-inch LCD display with 114,960 pixels. Priced at $179, this camera is also able to record 720p video.
