Dell Puts Nail Polish on Laptops

nailpolish Always one to try to impress the ladies(And fail), Dell is at it again.

This time the company is putting the color of your favorite nail polish on your laptop’s lid.

Dell has teamed up with OPI, the nail polish maker in order to put 26 shades on laptops.

The privilege will cost you an extra $85. And you won’t have to put cotton balls between the lid and base while blowing it dry. For once, Dell might be onto something that the ladies will like. Maybe.

Do we need expensive OLED screens in laptops?

    OLED Laptop

There’s been an alarming amount of chatter recently about laptop makers adding thin-but-expensive OLED displays to systems in the near future. At this week’s IFA trade show in Germany, Tech Radar reports that Kyu Uhm, Head of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Samsung’s Computing Division, told an audience, “Samsung is the largest OLED screen manufacturer. And as soon as it’s available commercially for laptops we will adopt it.” His best estimate was, “Probably sometime Q3 next year.” (more…)

    USB Snoop Stick

    USB Snoop Stick

Do you wonder what people are always up to on your computer whenever you are not around? The USB Snoop Stick comes in handy then, as long as you leave it plugged in discreetly. Continuous Ink reservoir may cut cost of ink

    Continuous Ink

It’s said that one of the most expensive items per ounce in the world isn’t gold, it’s printer ink. And based on how much I recently spend for a tiny color ink cartridge for both my printers, it doesn’t surprise me one bit. It sure would be great if I have a larger ink reservoir without having to take out a home equity loan to pay for it. Maybe Rihac is such a system. (more…)
