Verizon will soon allow unlimited Skype calling over 3G networks.
The time when Verizon announced that it would have a joint press conference with Skype at Mobile World Congress, we hoped that it would land up with some thing with providing unlimited Skype calling over 3G networks.
Verizon and Skype announced that those who carry certain smartphones to call anyone over Skype on the 3G network. The phones that will start next month are the Motorola Droid, Droid Eris, Motorola Devour and a number of Blackberry phones. It will later work on other smartphones.
Now, one can enjoy unlimited calls with the VOIP services like this from the collective effort from Verizon and Skype. Skype is an all time favorite for people who are into calls and they do like the sound quality of it. Thus, Verizon has made an effort to show that it can provide these kinds of services apart from only letting people surfing on internet.
Windows 7 has been a popular yet wonderful product from Microsoft but this time the company is depending on many teams to generate the final product “Windows 8“. The interview with Microsoft’s Consumer and Online Regional VP John Mangelaars also suggests that Windows 8 will be efficient compared to Windows 7.
Microsoft website stated that who ever is going to purchase Microsoft Office 2007 between March 5 to September 30 of this year 2010 will get a copy of Microsoft Office 2010 for free. 
Bill Gates, the founder of Windows-maker Microsoft, has launched a personal website for the first time, and is billing it as “An inside look at global matters”. In his greeting to new users of GatesNotes.com, he writes “since leaving my fulltime job at Microsoft to dedicate more time to our [charitable] foundation, a lot of people have asked me what I’m working on. I’m fortunate because the people I’m working with and learning from are true experts in their fields. I take a lot of notes [and] I thought it would be interesting to share these conversations more widely with a website.”
