Windows 7 starter edition with limitations, upsets netbook users

Windows-7-Starter-Edition-sucks-on-netbooksNetbook users are totally upset by the Windows 7 starter edition as the new OS comes with limitations, which you didn’t get with Windows XP on netbooks. Most netbook users were unaware of the limitations although Microsoft have openly said that the starter edition can’t do everything.
Most new netbooks on sale are running the Windows 7 starter edition, but you can pay an extra about $80 to get it upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium version to stay away from those limitations. But the additional cost makes lots of netbook users unhappy.
Microsoft’s such move seems to squeeze netbook users to one corner, and may unintentionally urges netbook users to opt Linux, (more…)
