Active Media has unveiled a new range of SSDs called the SaberTooth S4. Coming in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, these mini PCIe cards feature a SATA-II 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC NAND flash memory chips, a Jmicron JMF602B controller and provide sequential read/write speeds of up to 130/50 MB/s. These drives are compatible with SATA based netbooks including Eee PC models S101, 900, 900A, 901 and 1000, and work with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Linux as well as Mac OS 10.x.

Planon DocuPen Xtreme X-Series Scanning Pens
Planon has updated its DocuPen Xtreme X-Series scanning pens by releasing three new models namely the X05, X10 and X50. The X05 and X10 support image resolutions of up to 600dpi, while the X50 can handle up to 1,200dpi. All of these new scanning pens adopt a 200MHz internal processor, a 64MB RAM, a 200MHz processor, Bluetooth connectivity, a brighter OLED display and a lighter Lithium-Polymer battery. There is also a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion. The price starts at $369.99 upwards, depending on the model.
Panasonic Japan Releases Splash-Proof And Waterproof Portable 1Seg TV
The SV-MC75 and the SV-ME750 are the latest 1Seg portable TVs from Panasonic Japan. The high-end SV-MC75 supports IPX6-IPX7 (splash-proof and waterproof), a 4.3-inch display screen with a 480 x 272 resolution and an 8GB of storage space, which is upgradable via SDHC cards (up to 32GB). Meanwhile, its little brother the SV-ME750 has a bigger 5-inch display screen with a 480 x 272 resolution

Soyea Z5 Mobile Internet Device
Chinese-based company Soyea has recently released a new mobile internet device (MID) for the Chinese market called the Z5. The device sports a 5-inch WVGA 480 x 800 touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z515 processor, an 8GB SSD, a microSD card slot, a webcam, stereo speakers, a touchpad, WiFi, Bluetooth, a miniUSB port, a VGA port, a choice of either Windows XP or Linux OS and supports CDMA EV-DO 3G connectivity via China Telecom operator. The Soyea Z5 is now available for purchase via Amazon China for 5,999 Yuan (about $878).
Pure Siesta iDock
Pure Siesta iDock is actually a combo gadget that features a stereo DAB/ DAB+ with an FM radio, an alarm clock, and an iPod/ iPhone dock. The cool part of this gadget is that it has the Pure PowerPort, which provides power for USB accessories including mobile phone chargers, reading lights, bedside fans and cup warmers.
The Pure Siesta iDock will be available in time for Christmas 2009 for around £89.99 ($146).
Revo Technologies HERITAGE Multi-format Digital Radio
If you like retro gadgets then check out the latest multi-format digital radio from Revo Technologies. Known as the Revo HERITAGE, the gadget comes with the classic European table radio designs from the 50’s and 60’s decades.
The digital radio has an OLED display and a docking station for all current iPod models. The HERITAGE also sports DAB, DAB+, FM tuner, Wi-Fi internet radio, and wireless audio streaming. Each purchase of the HERITAGE comes with a free 30-day trial access to online music service Last.fm, where there are over 5 million tracks to choose from.

Samsung has announced two new LCD HDTV monitors to its range by releasing the 19-inch 933HD+ (1360 x 768) and 23-inch 2333HD (1920 x 1080). Both monitors provide 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 16: 9 aspect ratio, 5ms response time, Dolby Digital support (2333HD) and come with an integrated digital TV tuner.
In terms of connectivity ports, they offer HDMI, D-Sub and DVI. The 933HD+ and 2333HD are priced at $249.99 and $329.99, respectively.

Acer has launched a new Eco-friendly monitor, the Acer S243Lbmi 24 Inch LCD Monitor.The Acer S243Lbmi is a 24 inch LCD monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and it uses just 17.2w of power due to the use of LED Technology. The Acer S243Lbmi features a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and it has a pair of 1W speakers built in, on top of that there are two HDMI out ports and a D -Sub port.
It will go on sale in the next couple of weeks for 270 Euros about $400.
A-Data Announces Speedy CF 533X Series CompactFlash Cards
A-Data has just announced a new series of CompactFlash cards, the Speedy CF 533X. Coming in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB sizes, these cards provide read and write speeds of up to 80MB/s and 50MB/s, respectively. Not to mention, they also utilize a quad-channel transfer mode (Ultra DMA mode 0-6, IDE PIO mode 6, MDMA 0-4) and feature Error Correcting Code (ECC) function to detect and correct errors automatically. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.

Sharp Japan has announced their LX series of LED TV that is currently available in 40, 42, 52 and 60-inch models. The LED panels provides a full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 200,0000:1, a 176 degree viewing angle and a white LED backlit which consumes 30% less power. Additional features include a six speaker sound system which delivers 2.1 channel sound, Analog / Digital TV tuner, Ethernet port and three HDMI ports. The Sharp Aquos LX1 LED TV will hit Japanese stores early next month.
